Iran held by 10-man Bahrain in WAFF

In the match held at the Al-Sadaqua Walsalam Stadium in Kuwait City, Iran was held to a goalless draw against Bahrain in Group B. 
 
Bahrain striker Mohammed Tayeb Al Alawi was sent off by the referee in the 26th minute after receiving his second yellow card.  
 
The Iranian football team has played out a goalless draw against Saudi Arabia in its first match.
 
Iran will play Yemen on Saturday. 
 
The West Asian Football Federation (WAFF) Championship is an international tournament for selected West Asian countries. The competition takes places in Kuwait from December 8 to 20.
 
A total of 11 teams divided into two groups of four teams and one group of 3.
