| Iran to face Thailand in Asian Schools Football final |

.jpg) Iran will play Thailand on Thursday in the final match of the 40th Asian Schools Football U18 Championship which is underway in Tehran.
Iran edged past China 1-0 on Wednesday in Tehran’s Shahid Bahonar Camp.
In another semi-final match, Thailand drew with South Korea 1-1. In the penalty shootout, Thailand beat the powerful Korean team 5-3 and booked a place in the final game.
Iran has already defeated Indonesia, Sri Lanka, South Korea and Pakistan in the competition.
The closing ceremony of the competition will be held after the final match in presence of some high-ranking sport, education ministry officials and some of famous sport personalities.
