| MPs seeking to impeach energy minister |

 TEHRAN – A number of lawmakers have prepared a motion to impeach Energy Minister Majid Namjou, the Mehr News Agency reported on Saturday. They have cited weak management, poor planning, failure to fulfill commitments, and long delays in the dam construction projects as some of the reasons for their motion to oust Namjou. The minister survived an impeachment vote on March 6, 2011. Forty-three lawmakers had signed the first motion to impeach the energy minister.
