 TEHRAN – President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has said that Iran will stand by Muslim nations that have been oppressed by capitalist powers. Ahmadinejad made the remarks on Sunday during a meeting with Mauritanian President Mohamed Ould Abdel Aziz in Nouakchott. He also described Tehran-Nouakchott relationship as brotherly and said Iran is ready to utilize the two countries’ potential to the benefit of both nations. He added that African countries are rich in natural resources, but unfortunately Westerners have plundered their resources and imposed poverty and backwardness on them.
