| Iran denies claims of shipping weapons to Yemen |

.jpg) TEHRAN – An Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman on Sunday dismissed the claims that a ship intercepted last month off Yemen’s coast was an Iranian vessel.
According to Reuters, Yemen claimed on Saturday that the ship was an Iranian vessel trying to smuggle explosives and surface-to-air missiles to the country.
The unidentified Iranian official said that making such “irresponsible” claims was in the interests of neither of the countries and emphasized that Yemen’s security was important for Iran.
