‘Claim that Iran agrees Bashar al-Assad be toppled is a big fat lie’

c_330_235_16777215_0___images_stories_edim_02_br4(63).jpgTEHRAN – TEHRAN – Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian has said that Iran’s stance on Syria is clear and the claim that Tehran has agreed that Syrian President Bashar al-Assad should be toppled is a big fat lie, the Persian service of the Mehr News Agency reported on Wednesday.  
 
Tehran supports the Syrian people and the reform plan put forward by Assad, Amir-Abdollahian said.
 
He emphasized that the presence of Syria in the resistance front is stronger than ever.
