| Strike on Iran would be suicide for Israel: Rafsanjani |

 TEHRAN – In a statement issued on Wednesday to mark the Sacred Defense Week, Expediency Council Chairman Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani warned Israel that any military action against Iran will be “an act of suicide”.
Rafsanjani added Israel’s repeated military threats against the Islamic Republic will make Iranians “run out of patience” despite their great tolerance.
Iran’s Sacred Defense Week begins on September 22, which is the day Iraq invaded Iran, triggering an eight-year war against Iran in the 1980s.
