.jpg) TEHRAN – Iran can play a positive role in resolving regional issues, Arab League Secretary General Nabil el-Arabi told Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi during a meeting in Cairo on Tuesday.
The two sides emphasized the necessity of continued consultation between Iran and the Arab League.
Commenting on the Syrian crisis, Salehi said that the issue should be resolved through a “Syrian-Syrian” solution without any foreign intervention.
