UN chief to visit Natanz nuclear enrichment facility: report

c_330_235_16777215_0___images_stories_edim_02_am2(31).jpgTEHRAN – United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-moon will visit the Natanz nuclear enrichment facility, in the central province of Isfahan, on the sidelines of the summit of the Non-Aligned Movement in Tehran, the Persian service of the Fars News Agency (FNA) reported on Monday. 
 
The XVI Summit of the Non-Aligned Movement began in Tehran on Sunday and closes on Friday. Ban is scheduled to attend the meeting of heads of state and government, which will be held on Thursday and Friday.
 
Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Mohammad Mehdi Akhoundzadeh, the secretary general of the NAM expert meetings, also said on Monday that the UN chief will visit the city of Isfahan during his stay in Iran. 
 
FNA also reported on Monday that Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi will visit the Bushehr nuclear power plant on the sidelines of the summit.
