WHO: Khan Younis hospital undersupplied

The World Health Organization has said the European Hospital in southern Gaza is “overwhelmed, overcrowded and undersupplied,” amid an ongoing Israeli ground offensive in Khan Younis.

It estimated over 20,000 people were sheltering in the h hospital’s premises, while 200 patients were discharged but have “no safe place to go.”

The UN agency has repeatedly warned of ongoing attacks on hospitals, which are protected under international law.
