Iran approves new forex policies

TEHRAN- The Supreme Council for Economic Coordination reviewed and approved Central Bank of Iran (CBI)’s new general foreign currency policies as well as solutions to accelerate fighting corruption in domestic economy, Fars news agency reported on Saturday.
According to the council’s Saturday morning session, led by President Hassan Rouhani, the details of the approved policies will be investigated and ratified on the cabinet’s meeting on Sunday.
CBI Governor Abdolnaser Hemmati will announce the details of the new policies and their implementation method to public on Monday.
