TEHRAN – Iran's Ambassador to the United Nations Gholam Ali Khoshroo on Thursday stressed the need for a total destruction of all nuclear weapons across the world.

Khoshroo made the remarks while addressing a meeting of the UN General Assembly to study the annual report of the International Court of Justice.

The Iranian envoy, speaking on behalf of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM), also called on the ICJ to help end Israel’s decades-long occupation of the Palestinian territories.
