TEHRAN – French novels “Chanson Douce” and “Don't Worry, Life Is Easy” have recently been published in Persian in Tehran.

Abolfazl Allahdadi is the translator of the books that have been released by Behnegar Publications.

French-Moroccan writer Leila Slimani’s 2016 novel “Chanson Douce”, which received France’s best-known literary award, the Prix Goncourt in 2016, tells the story of a perfect nanny who murders two children she is looking after.

French author Agnes Martin-Lugandhas’s 2017 novel “Don’t Worry, Life Is Easy” is the sequel to the 2013 novel “Happy People Read and Drink Coffee”. It is about a young widow, Diane, who tries to rebuild her life after losing her husband and child in a car accident.
