Iran, India sign LPG deal for first time

TEHRAN – Iran has signed a deal for selling liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) to India, IRNA reported quoting a gas official as saying.
According to Mohammadali Barati, the managing director of Iranian Gas Commercial Company (IGCC), Iran is seeking the diversification of its target markets for such commodities.
“The company is negotiating with different countries and we have reached some agreements too,” the official said.
IGCC is in charge of the gas sales for the phases 4 and 5 of South Pars field (Iran shares with Qatar in Persian Gulf).
