Tehran photo exhibit to showcase leading figures of Iran’s Azarbaijan

TEHRAN – Photos of 40 contemporary art elites and social figures from Iran’s Azarbaijan will be put on display in an exhibition, which is scheduled to open at Tehran’s Farda Gallery on Friday.

The photos are from a collection by photographer Pasha Hadian, the gallery announced on Wednesday.

The collection features portraits of composer Farhad Fakhreddini, filmmakers Tahmineh Milani and Seifollah Samadian, actor Reza Naji, cultural scholar Jaleh Amuzgar and dozens of other figures from the region located in the northwestern Iran.

The exhibition will run until April 13 at the gallery located at 2 Araabi Alley, Hosseini St., off Karim Khan Ave.
