Iranian company launches competition to select prototypes for Gamescom

TEHRAN – Iran’s Fanafzar Sharif Software Company plans to hold a video game design competition for selecting top prototypes to be showcased at Gamescom, Europe’s largest trade fair for computer and video games.

In a call published on Monday, the company asked video game designers from across the country to submit their applications within the next 30 days. 

The contest entitled “Level Up” will be held under the auspices of the National Foundation for Computer Games. Winners will also be awarded cash prizes. 

Over 300 products from all over the world will be premiered in Gamescom, which will be held in Cologne, Germany from August 17 to 21.
