TEHRAN -- The award ceremony of the 10th Tehran Photo Biennial was held on Nov. 8 at Tehran Museum of Contemporary Art.

Mehdi Qasemi, Satiar Emami, Jalil Hosseini-Zahraii, Hassan Qaedi, and Javad Moqimi were honored in the Press News section while Homayun Amir-Yeganeh, Ebrahim Sisan, Ershad Fattahian, Mehrdad Afsari, and Karim Mottaqi were selected at the Architecture section.

The jury also praised Ramiar Manuchehrzadeh, Sadra Vejdani, Amir-Hossein Ebnoddin-Hamidi, Majid Kurang-Beheshti, and Morteza Khaki at the biennial’s Innovation part.

In the Industry and Advertisement section works by Amir-Saeid Gorji, Saeid Eskandarzadeh, Fereydun Qeisaripur, Mohammad Korur, and Mehdi Qanbarpur were chosen.

In addition, Ali Bakhshi, Mehdi Mon’em, Mojdeh Faqani, and Gholam-Hossein Ghaffari were selected in the Portrait section.

Awards went to Nader Samavati, Bahman Zarei, Behzad Torkizadeh, Davud Ameri, and Golriz Farmani in the Nature part.

Mojgan Ramezani, Rokneddin Hejazi, Nader Davudi, Mohammad Varzandeh, and Javad Moqimi also won at the Social Documentary section.

Reza Seyyed-Paydari, Mohammadreza Sharifzadeh, Yadollah Abdi, Hamed Nirumand-Quchaninejad, and Mohsen Rastani were glittered at the biennial’s special section Prophet Muhammad’s (S) Heritage.

The chosen photos are currently on display at Saba Art and Culture Complex and they will be exhibited until Dec. 7.
