Rouholamini did not die of meningitis: source

TEHRAN - The cause of Mohsen Rouholamini’s death was not meningitis, an informed source told the Mehr News Agency on Monday.

Iran’s Forensic Medicine Organization has reported its final view on the causes of Rouholamini’s death to officials, he said.

“According to the report, the death was caused by physical stress, numerous blows, and also a blow by a hard object,” he said.

Rouholamini was a 25-year-old man who died in prison during the post-election unrest
