Japanese triennial selects works of Iranian graphic designers

TEHRAN -- Posters created by thirteen Iranian artists were selected at the 10th International Poster Triennial in Toyama, Japan.
 
The triennial was held in two categories. Category A was dedicated to printed and published posters and Category B featured unpublished posters in self-promotion.
 
Posters by Mohsen Hazrati, Mahsa Miri, Tahereh Mokhtarzadehm Mehdi Saeidim Foad Sharifi and Mehdi Fatehi were selected in Category A.
 
In category B, posters by the Iranian artists Fariba Borufa, Rasul Eskandari, Mohammad Hajhashemi, Elham Hemmat, Masud Najafi Amirkiasar, Ali Razmpa, Mehdi Saeidi and Hamideh Torabi were selected.
 
The selected posters will be on display at the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art in Toyama. The museum is located in the corner of Johnan Park near the center of the city. 
 
Japan Graphic Designers Association (JAGDA), Tokyo Art Directors Club (TOKYO ADC), Tokyo Illustrators Society (TIS), Tokyo Type Directors Club (TDC) and ‘Poster Town Toyama’ Organizing Committee cosponsored the event.
