|International lineup for Fajr theater festival announced||
TEHRAN -- A total of 23 plays by troupes from different countries are competing at the International Section of the 30th Fajr International Theater Festival.
“Hotel Paradiso” by director Michael Vogel (Familie Flöz troupe), “Twenty Thousand Leagues under the Seas” by Pino Di Buduo (Teatro Potlach), “Periodonero” by Eva Geatti and Nicola Toffolini (Cosmesi troupe) are Italian plays being staged during the gala.
French plays “Mousson” by Au Cul Du Loup Troupe, “A Wonderful World” by Jos Houben (BP Zoom troupe) and “The Horsemen” by Jean-Luc Prévost (Les Goulus troupe) are also being staged at the festival.
The festival is also staging plays from other countries including “Misty Mansion” by Dazzle troupe from Japan, “Leo” by Daniel Briere (Circle of Eleven troupe) from Germany and “Absence and Presence” by Andrew Dawson from Britain.
“Clouds” by Seyyed Morteza Mirmontazami, “South from North West” by Ayyub Aqakhani, “I am Iraj, the Son of Fereydun or Three drops of Blood on Snow” by Abdollah Barjasteh are among 14 Iranian plays which go on stage at the International Section.
The festival is currently underway in Tehran and Alborz, Golestan, Kermanshah, Lorestan and Northern Khorasan provinces.
