|Tehran press exhibit to set up temporary museum for history of Iranian journalism||
TEHRAN -- A temporary museum for the history of Iranian journalism will be set up on the sidelines of the 19th International Exhibition of Press and News Agencies in Tehran.
A collection of the first Iranian newspapers and magazines and many other interesting objects will be showcased at a large pavilion, the event’s organizer the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance announced in a press release on Saturday.
The Press Union of the Islamic World, which was established by Iran during the last year’s exhibit, is scheduled to hold a meeting at this year’s exhibition that will take place at the Imam Khomeini Mosalla from October 28 until November 3.
Representatives of 50 news agencies from the Islamic world have been invited to the meeting.
The union is comprised of 52 members including 38 dailies and 14 new agencies.
