| Iranian foundation to commemorate Lorca’s musical achievements |

 TEHRAN -- Tehran’s Rudaki Foundation plans to commemorate the Spanish poet and dramatist Federico Garcia Lorca’s achievements in music during a ceremony at Rudaki Hall on September 15.
Musical performances and speeches by music experts Mohammadreza Aslani, Foad Naziri and Fanus Bahadorvand have been arranged for the ceremony entitled “A Night of Federico Garcia Lorca”.
Federico Garcia Lorca (1898–1936) was a Spanish poet and dramatist who is also remembered as a painter, pianist and composer.
The event is cosponsored by the Tehran School Artists Center and the Music Box Institute.
The Rudaki Foundation will hold the ceremony with the help of the Tehran School and the Music Box Institute, two major centers for musical education in Tehran.
